A new Kickstarter has launched, aiming to bring the iconic game, Final Fantasy VII, into a fully-fledged live action web series. With an aim of $400,000, all the details can be found on the Kickstarter page. For now, here is a trailer, a concept if you will.

FFVII PC Released & Pulled
The PC re-release of Final Fantasy VII was released last night and was subsequently pulled just hours later.
There are a lot of people who want a remake of Final Fantasy VII. However, new titles take precedence.

We know a Final Fantasy VII remake is a long way off if its ever decided to be made after Yoshinori Kitase’s interview with OXM. Some fans just can’t wait that long and one has been working on a little project using the Unreal Engine 3. The opening level is well done here and the appreciation shown by fans of this work indicates to Square Enix that this title would be a hit. Check out a video of the sequence in action here.
We know that the hundreds of fans would like to see a hi-def version of Final Fantasy VII. But if we were to achieve the modern graphical quality at the same time putting in exactly the same world and everything, I think it would take ten times longer as compared to the time we took to produce XIII.
