It’s gonna be pretty much a phased approach, and it’s gonna be phased in terms of geography and in terms of how we’ll do it. We’ll launch in North America in 2014. We are working to bring that service to other parts of the world, and most notably Europe, but you know, Europe is… I love Europe… It’s a great place to live and it’s so different… You know, Scandinavia is different to Italy, to France and everything is different to the UK, but that difference makes it great to live there, but it makes it rather difficult to do stuff like introducing a cloud gaming service, because it’s just very fragmented.
PS4 Rumours & PlayStation Cloud Domains Registered
With the big announcement, almost undoubtedly regarding the next PlayStation, a set of Cloud gaming related domains have been registered by the Sony-owned, Gaikai. Oh and there’s been some pricing, release and bundle rumours too!

I’m a fan of what OnLive and Gaikai set out to accomplish. I am confident their vision of streaming games will happen – I’m just not sure when.
I think it kind of defeats the purpose of cloud gaming to limit it to a subset of devices.
It’s going to open a lot of doors that just weren’t open before.
Gaikai Announces Special E3 Event
The cloud gaming company, Gaikai, have sent out invites for a special E3 event which will bring news that will “change the future of video games”.
